Seafood Buffet

Tonight we have a seafood buffet in our hotel. When we arrive there are oysters, mussels, clams, and every kind of shell fish you can think of. There are also lobsters and large prawns.

Ann and I order two half lobsters and I four prawns, grilled with garlic butter sauce. Our table has 16 on it, two from another scenic group, with two of our group eating elsewhere. 

There are a lot of orders for lobster and seafood. People seem to be getting wrong orders and our end of the table is waiting a while. One of our group passes down some prawns she didn’t order and Ann and I end up with it. They were large and ok but no garlic butter. Then two lobster were passed down to us, they were dry and overcooked - not a good start. Then more orders started arriving, these had garlic butter and then more prawns. Just as we finished another batch of lobster and prawns arrived on the table! It was a complete stuff up with the orders but no one went hungry and they tasted better by the end of the service. 

After a few wines we were all laughing about the. seemingly never ending supply of lobster and prawns. Ann then went to the buffet and got some tempura prawns which she said were delicious. Afterwards we sampled the dessert buffet which had some halloween themed desserts with Ann eating a chocolate tarantula. We had plenty of laughs and a great night.
