Up Up and Away

Slightly concerned about pick up this morning . How long do we leave it before we ring? Nothing to worry   about . Ann received a text to say driver was on the way and we could track his route. He arrived at 6.40 and we hurriedly checked we had everything . We were away just before 7. The driver was very pleasant but could he talk. Practically the whole way there non stop, but it was an interesting conversation . Turns out he and his wife also drive for Tennis Australia during the Open. He was stood up by Djokovic at the last open, only getting permission to leave around 2.30 am. Had some interesting stories about his pickups. 

Arrived at the airport at 8.20 which was a good run in the heavy traffic .  Had to wait nearly 40 mins at check in even though we were in the priority queue. Can’t believe the number of suitcases and boxes the Vietnamese were putting through. Pretty smooth going through security and immigration. We are at the gate now (9.35) awaiting boarding which is scheduled for 10.45.  Starting to get back into the excitement of travelling again.
